Quoted price will remain valid for a period of 30 days, after which time a revised quotation will be necessary.
A non-refundable deposit of 30% and signed copy of your quotation is required to confirm your order and secure an installation date.
Customers have a 7 day cooling-off period during which time they may cancel. Cancellations must be sent to Price Glass & Glazing (Avon) Ltd in writing.
Prior to installation, a surveyor will attend site to obtain manufacturing sizes and confirm the goods and services referred to in the quotation are feasible.
You may make a written request for your order to be amended provided our surveyor has not carried out the final site survey and the goods have not entered manufacturing. We will notify you in writing if the requested changes affect the quoted price.
Price Glass & Glazing (Avon) Ltd reserves the right to amend the specification of the goods if required by any applicable statutory or regulatory requirement.
It is the customers responsibility to move any fixtures or fittings e.g. curtains, blinds (including poles and brackets), doorbells, cables and furniture etc away from the windows and doors being replaced. Price Glass & Glazing (Avon) Ltd will accept no liability should such items become damaged as a result of the customers failure to move them in advance of the installation
Price Glass & Glazing (Avon) Ltd will, as far as reasonably practicable, make good any damage caused in the course of the installation to plaster, rendering or brickwork to the immediate surrounding area of any window and door installed. Price Glass & Glazing (Avon) Ltd will endeavour to ensure that it matches existing finishes as best as possible.
The customer shall obtain any necessary planning, building regulations or other permissions prior to the order of goods and services. It is the customers responsibility to ensure that the goods ordered are permissible if the property is listed or in a conservation area.
The guarantee period starts from the date the installation is completed and invoice is raised. The title in all goods or property remains with Price Glass & Glazing (Avon) Ltd until payment has been received in full.
Any complaint regarding the goods or services provided or if the customer disputes an invoice, must be confirmed in writing within 48 hours of the works being carried out. After 48 hours further work will only be carried out once payment has been received in full.
The customer must provide Price Glass & Glazing (Avon) Ltd with access to repair or fix any defect and to resolve any query or complaint. Price Glass & Glazing (Avon) Ltd will use all reasonable efforts to repair or fix the defect as soon as reasonably practicable. It may be necessary to attend site on multiple occasion.
Where a replacement item is required, a like-for-like product will be sourced from the original manufacturer. Where this is not possible, a suitable alternative may be sourced
All double glazed units will be supplied and installed in-line with Glass & Glazing Federation guidelines. Minor imperfections and blemishes may be present on occasions and will only be deemed replaceable when they fall outside of these acceptable levels.
Commercial properties are excluded from any guarantees.
Our guarantee will not cover any products damaged as a result of accidents, neglect misuse or general wear and tear.
Price Glass & Glazing (Avon) Ltd will not be liable for any direct loss, indirect loss or consequential loss arising for any reason in relation to any defects or faulty manufacture. No claims for compensation or costs for third-party contractors will be accepted for any reason.
Any samples, showroom displays, illustrations or descriptive matter of goods in catalogues or brochures are issued or published for the sole purpose of giving an approximate idea of the Services and/or Goods described in them. They shall not form part of the Order nor have any contractual force.
Samples are intended to demonstrate the working of typical items and the materials which may be used. Goods will be manufactured at the time of order based on the manufacturer’s specification at the time.
By agreeing to this quotation / agreement you are also consenting to your personal data being shared with third parties for the purposes of fulfilling the requirements of the Competent Person Scheme for self-certification under the Building Regulations. Personal data includes title, name, address, email, and phone numbers. This data will be used to provide essential documentation and will be retained on files for the lifetime of the guarantees which do not exceed 10 years
